My Journey
Born to be a storyteller, much of my journey has been in denial that I belonged in business. As a creative, I grew up belieivng that my skills carried no weight in the world of commerce, and that filmmaking was to be an expensive hobby, not a valuable skill.
The shift started to happen when I discovered the psychological roots of my biases and self-limiting beliefs. It was then that I decided to have another go at positioning myself as...
"an artist with commercial value".
I changed my perspective. Guernsey was no longer a 'low-volume marketplace' but instead a 'relationship economy'.
People don't really need more visibility, I thought to myself. They need clearly defined reasons to trust and choose.
In the age of content saturation, how was I to provide value if not through discovery and awareness? Simply put, trust refinement.
This is where my best work emerges, in the space between myself and the client. Holding a mirror to the artist within all of us.

MY PURPOSE
There's No Competition in Creativity
Authenticity is the most powerful tool we have at our disposal. It's the key differentiator. Where others see risk, I see great reward.
My purpose is to create the container for people to explore and express their mission, motivation and passion.
My gift is gently extracting these narrative elements from a person and candidly sharing that story for others to see, hear and feel.
I embrace the masculine aspects of business along with the feminine quality of creativity.
Over the past 6 years, I have come to learn that the two are not mutually exclusive, but complimentary.
Champion-Smith Creative is an entrepreneurial experiment showing people that the thing that we are most afraid of is the door to aligning with what our individual meaning of success.
In a world that demands rigidity, credibility and authority above all, the key to building trust is found in the subtle art of communicating what's important to us.
